• Authentication: Our authentication provider (Supabase) uses cookies to keep you signed in and to manage your session. Without these cookies, you would not be able to log in or stay logged in. We do not control the exact names of these cookies; they are set by our auth infrastructure and are essential for the app to work.
• Security and operation: Cookies may be used to protect against abuse, remember your choices (e.g. workspace selection), and support core features. You cannot use Monetrail without accepting the operation of these essential cookies.

Optional cookies (with your consent)

We only enable these if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner on the landing page:

• Analytics (Vercel Analytics): We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized information about page views and how the site is used (e.g. which pages are visited). This helps us improve the product. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
• Performance (Vercel Speed Insights): We use Vercel Speed Insights to measure performance metrics such as page load times. This helps us make the app faster. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

If you click "Decline optional", we do not load these analytics or performance scripts, and no optional tracking cookies are set for those purposes.

4. How to manage your choices

On our site: When you first visit the Monetrail landing page, you will see a cookie banner. You can choose "Accept" to allow analytics and performance cookies, or "Decline optional" to use only essential cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser (e.g. in local storage) so we remember it on future visits. Please note: we still need to use essential cookies (including for authentication) to provide the service; declining only disables optional tracking.

In your browser: You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting all cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the service, because authentication relies on cookies.

5. Authentication and cookies

Our authentication system uses cookies to keep you logged in. When you sign in to Monetrail, our auth provider sets cookies that are necessary to maintain your session and protect your account. If you disable or block these cookies, you will not be able to use the logged-in areas of the app. We do not use authentication cookies for advertising or optional tracking; they are strictly necessary for the service.
